Safety Considerations When Interacting With Scammers

Safety precautions in dealing with possibly violent Nigerian Scammers. Never use your real name, email address, postal address or telephone number.

Create a fictitious identity when engaging with scammers.

Name: create a fictitious name using Random British Surnames (with first names).

E-Mail: set up a new email account using your fictitious name with GMail, Outlook, Mail.com, GMX.com, AOL.com or Yahoo

Address: don't use a real address of someone else, use Random UK Address generator and match to a telephone number, below. The generator uses genuine UK post codes but the street addresses, though typical of many addresses up and down the country do not appear within the postcode area. They can be considered fictitious.

Telephone No: don't use a real telephone number of someone else use Fictitious Telephone numbers matching area code to address chosen. These ranges of telephone numbers provided by OFCOM, the UK Telephone regulator to be used by television and film companies in their productions. They will never be assigned to customers and so no one will ever be inconvenienced by film fans phoning a telephone number they have seen in a film or tv series.

Will the scammers check the address is genuine or that you have given them your telephone number by phoning you? They may do but they could very well not bother. Remember if you are ever challenged in an email you don't need to reply to them.

Identity Documents: Sometimes Scammers send you copies of their identity documents, invariably fake. If they request you to send your identity documents don't obviously send a copy of a real passport or driving licence. It is possible to create a fake passport or driving licence from images online and a simple graphics program.

Available online are fake documents which can be used, one particularly easy to "personalise" is the UK Identity Card (no such identity card exists since the identity cards were abolished before they had been properly introduced)

Check out: UK National Identity Card (https://fakeidworld.com/product/national-uk-id-card/), you obviously don't buy the card, just download the image and amend as previously suggested. Large image of ID card

Photographs: don't use your own photograph otherwise you might see the scammers using your photograph as part of identity theft also just as we can do reverse image searches on id documents to discover the real person behind a fake document, the scammers can do the same and possibly locate you.

Similarly don't use another person's photograph as you would be creating problems for them. What you need to do is create identity photographs using AI where photographs will be created of people that don't exist.

These are some examples of online AI resources... This Person Does Not Exist just click reload to see more images. Another resource where you can specify age and gender of image created This Person Not Exist or Face Generator and if you are particular generate your own MP (member of parliament) and get a business-like look suitable for id documents This MP Does Not Exist".

One problem with several of the above AI photograph tools is that there are backgrounds that would need to be removed for use on an identity card. Another way of specifying a particular appearance for a passport style photograph is to use ChatGPT. ChatGPT.

These are some examples of photographs created using ChatGPT:

Any of these images or others created would be suitable to place on fake id documents.
