Binance Phishing Scam
If you are a Binance user (the cryptocurrency trading platform) you would be interested to know of these developments in the Binance trading platform but this is where the scammers step in and try to get you to provide your details to a fake binance login page.
Here's what the e-mail we received:
Date: 14/07/2025, 06:46
From: Binance Web 3 f9xila6k@bwn.io
To: [E-Mail address redacted]
Subject: Urgent: Secure Your Binance Web3 Transition
Notes: Sender email domain bwn.io takes you to the website https://bookwhen.com/ which is an online booking system website for online classes and the like... clearly nothing to do with Binance.
The click through button for "Chat with our Web 3 - based AI" takes you through to: https://t.co/hDgQSmIVI3?id=-3629717546880285486-3866, the t.co shortening service could take you just anywhere.
The official Binance domain name is www.binance.com. This is clearly a fake phishing email to harvest your login details which if successful would result in you having a significant financial loss. Don't click on the link!
Recommendation:
Just delete the e-mail.
