Date: 20/06/2025, 21:28

From: FedEx Tracking no-reply@mg.updatetrackingfedax.com

To: [Name and email address redacted]

Reply to: support@mg.updatetrackingfedax.com

Your Delivery is Ready for Collection

Notes: The sender (and reply) email domain updatetrackingfedax.com was only registered the day before the email was received. Note fedax rather than the correct spelling fedex. The click through web address makes use of a domain shortener service so you could be going just anywhere.

Recommendation: Do not click on the link. Delete the email.

And onother scam email purporting to be from Fedex:

E-Mail received:

Date: 28/07/2025, 09:57

From: FedEx Tracking info@mg.communitymarketspace.com

To: [Name and email address redacted]

Your package has been received at the warehouse 67876386112231

Notes: Sender email address, nothing to do with Fedex. Click through link https://tinyurl.com/mwppr5wu. Use of url shortener could send you just anywhere.

Confusion in the email as to whether it is the US or UK office sending out the email... Claims Fedex UK and yet phone number appears to be a US number, the Track shipment and Customer support links are broken but suggest an official French Canadian Fedex website, the charge being required is stated to be $12.47 GBP It could be US$12.47 or 12.47 GBP (Great Britain Pounds)... it can't be both!

The Fedex logo on the email is also broken.

Recommendation: Do not click on the link. Delete the email.
