Subject: Insufficient storage space

insufficient storage space scam

Notes: The sender email address, alert@email.com is an email provided by the free email service Mail.com. If you were actually running out of storage space and the email service wished to contact you they would do so using their own email address.

The Click through links to either download emails or increase storage space link to https://acacia-turkey.com/i/?c3Y9Z2VuZXJhbCZyPUh0JnVpZD1VU0VSMjgwNTIwMjVVMTkwNTI4MDYmc z1oQg=N0123Nmfowler@mf3.co.uk.

The website address https://acacia-turkey.com raises suspicions in it being an industrial polymers site although I think it may be a fake website as it raises virus alerts of being harmful.

Recomendation: Don't click on any links, just delete the email. If you have any concerns about your email storage space just login in the usual way you use to your email provider and check your usage within the allowed limits.
