Email Deactivation Alert Scam

A deactivation alert for your email account, no time to lose confirm your credentials now, but this is a phishing attempt to gain access to your account.

I have given you one of the "red flags" a sense of urgency in the email... can you spot some of the others before I give them towards the bottom of the page?

E-Mails received:

From: Webmail Team info@proplate.se

To: [Name and E-Mail address redacted]

Subject: [E-mail address redacted] Deactivation Alert.

Notes

"Red Flags"

  1. Sense of urgency in the email, to take action now, perhaps before considering whther the email is a phishing scam
  2. No "branding" to the actual E-mail provider. Are you sure that your E-mail provider is actually contacting you?
  3. Sender email address info@poplate.se. Unless you happen to be a Swedish resident you are unlikely to get an email from a Swedish site and not from a genuine site (probably hacked) that is in metal manufacturing.
  4. Click through website address: https://diamondhub.org/wp-admin/mail.html#[Email address redacted]. An unlikely address for an isp (internet service provider) and the parent domain https://diamondhub.org has a warning on the site...

How many "red flags" did you spot?

Recommendation:

Just delete the e-mail, don't click on any links.
